Doug Barker is a full time professional woodworker working exclusively in fine solid wood furniture. Doug prefers the clean lines of Shaker, Asian, Mission and Contemporary furniture styles, often combining the difference styles and a dash of inspiration from nature itself.

Doug has been working wood since his youth, and refined his skills in various Army craft shops around the world. Doug retired from the Army after 22 years and spent the next decade in software development. Doug knew he wanted to return to his passion of woodworking, and studied for more than a year in the shop of an established professional furniture maker before deciding to start out on his own.

Doug enjoys working one on one with his clients to develop a unique design that exceeds their expectations
