We appreciate the internal beauty that nature has given each wood. Light woods can brighten an area. Dark woods can add richness and sophistication. We may even blend light and dark woods in a single piece in order to further magnify a specific lightness or darkness.

Copper is a brilliant metal that can be manipulated in many ways. Tarnished, it can add great blue and green highlights to any piece. Annealed, the artist can add metallic swirls and patterns that blend perfectly with the tones of the wood.

Possibly our favorite material, slate comes in colors and patterns personally created by nature. Every piece of slate is completely different in color, design, and texture. It's the variety of colors swirled together that allows slate to affect each piece so dramatically and uniquely.
